Daedalus Update is Live!

At CaterValley, we are committed to continuously improving the customer experience.
With the Daedalus Update, we’ve introduced several new features and enhancements to the customer panel.

Here are the key highlights:

Smarter Delivery System

Our updated delivery system ensures more accurate fee calculations.
If a discount is applied, the discounted delivery fee is now clearly displayed to the user — adding transparency to every order.

Meal-Based & Multi-Restaurant Planning

We’ve completely redesigned the weekly planning system.
Restaurants are now selected based on meal types (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and each meal can be managed independently.
For example, you can add a specific restaurant just for breakfast and choose a different one for lunch.

Even better, you can select multiple restaurants for the same meal!
Create a single order from as many restaurants as you like — giving you the flexibility to build the perfect weekly plan.

Advanced Filtering Options

• You can now filter restaurants by meal types: Buffet, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
• A new dietary filter, “Vegetarian – Upon Request,” has been added.
• Diet-based filtering has been improved for better accuracy.
• A filter bar has been added to the restaurant detail screen for easier selection.

General UX Improvements

• The issue where address selection buttons would occasionally disappear has been resolved.
• The system now defaults to Lunch for meal selection. If unavailable, it will automatically fallback to Breakfast or Dinner.

With this update, your weekly planning becomes more flexible, restaurant selection more intuitive, deliveries more transparent, and the overall experience much more efficient.
